Loving daughter of the late Richard and Susan (Alferi) Smith.
Devoted wife of William Gore Sr.
Beloved mother of daughter Jennifer, Jillian, and son William Jr and the late Jessica Gore.
Dear sister of the late Darnell Defelice, Richie Smith, Russell Smith, Albert Smith, and Paul Smith.
Cherished nana to 13 grandchildren: Richard, Shyann, Destiny, Brooklynn, Robin Jr., Rosalia, Reyna, Pedro, Pablo, Manny, Ellie, Willy, and Sisco who were her greatest joys, and great-grandmother of Ariella Cartagena, Jessica Paige, and Richard Gore Jr.
She is also survived by many other friends, family members, and her dog Lucky.
Family and friends will honor Irene's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, East Boston, on Tuesday, September 23rd, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. A prayer service will take place at 7:00 P.M. Committal services will be private. In accordance with the family's wishes, please omit flowers.
