Wanda "Gail" Gore, 66 of Riegelwood departed this life on Friday, September 19, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family after a long, hard, courageous battle with cancer.

Gail was born June 29, 1959 in Columbus County to the late Homer and Irene Gore. Gail spent the last 25 years with the love of her life Stevie "Knotthead" Pridgen. She was an employee of Knotthead Construction for 20 years. Gail was a member of Wesley Weyman Methodist Church in Riegelwood where she was involved in the Methodist Women's group as well as many other church activities. Gail wore many hats throughout her life and was able to travel and accomplish many things during her time here on earth, her favorite place to be was at the beach which she considered her little piece of heaven on earth. She was a "Jill" of all trades and she enjoyed being involved. Even though Gail didn't have children she had the pleasure of raising and being involved in the lives of many children during her lifetime. Gail was the rock of her family and was always the one to arrange family time because to her nothing was more important than God and her family.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Roland Gore and Levern Gore and a sister JoAnn Gore. She is survived by her husband Stevie and their 3 loving miniature dachshunds Mia Irene, Odie and Rip of the home. Sisters, Louise Lavin (Stanley) of Delco, Rhonda Price (Rick) of Longs SC, and Frances Jacobs (Dean) of Bolton. Maternal aunt, Diane Bullard (Ernie) of Monroe. Nieces and Nephews, Ann Jacobs, Brian Bennett, Melissa Patrick, Roland Gore II, Stanley Lavin II, Devin Jacobs (Lexie), MaKayla Jacobs, Tammy Carver (Chris), Haley Gore, Mickey Strickland, Maya Patrick, Hannah Gore, Jesse Gore, Layton Jacobs, Lucas Gore, Waylon Jacobs, Jonathan Stanley (Love), Mark Stanley (Carmen), Ethan Stanley and Connor Stanley. 3 stepsons, Dennis Clifton, Daniel Clifton (Jenny) and Justin Clifton (Courtney). One very special niece who she referred to as her "spoiled brat" Taylor Moore (Bradley) of Riegelwood. Gail was blessed to have some of the best lifelong friends with who she shares many memories, Hilda Bennett, Mary and Marvin Webb, Lou and Jeff Wilder, and Sheila and Smitty Austin.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at Wesley Weyman Methodist Church. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Wesley Weyman Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Weyman Chapel Cemetery.
