Rose Mary Ange Kline, 76, of Lake Charles passed away at 9:01 AM on Monday, June 17, 2024 in her residence.
Mrs. Kline was born on March 7, 1948 in Lake Charles where she spent her entire life and attended LaGrange High School. She cherished her faith deeply and attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God, where her voice enriched the choir. She also found spiritual fulfillment at Livingway Pentecostal Church.
Among her passions, Mrs. Kline found joy in water aerobics. She found solace and expression in singing and composing heartfelt melodies and poems. Above all, her greatest love was reserved for her family. She adored her children and grandchildren, finding immense happiness in their company.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Steve Kline of Lake Charles; her children, Steven Kline (Sheree) of Cisco, TX, Travis Kline of Crystal Springs, MS, Jason Kline (Allona) of Woodville, TX, and Jessie Kline of Lake Charles; a brother, Henry Ange, Jr. (Linda Ruth) of Moss Bluff; a sister, Ruby Chapman (Thomas) of Lake Charles, LA; four grandchildren, Parry, Jacob, Josie, and Olivia Rose; and one great grandson, Lincoln, and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine and Henry Ange and siblings, Mamie Mhire and Joseph Ange.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 21, 2024 in the Johnson Funeral Home chapel. Pastor Charles Huddleston and Pastor Gary Evers will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Friday from 12:00 PM until the start of the service.
