Rose Marie Asher, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at her home. She was born June 13, 1957, in Rossville, Indiana to the late Arthur "Bud" and Ruth Cowan.

She married Steven Asher July 3, 1974, they were married nearly 40 years and raised 11 children.

Rose enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, cooking, music, watching wrestling, and fishing when she was

younger.

She is survived by her children; Chris (Heather) Asher of Greensburg, IN; Chanda (Keith) Crosley and Caitlyn (Eric) Lake

of Shelbyville, IN; Chad Asher and Chayla Asher of Indianapolis, IN; Chevon (Derek) Burton and Cheyanna Asher of Edinburgh,

IN; Cody (Misty Swanson) Asher of Southport, IN; Casey Asher of Trafalgar, IN; 19 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a

brother, Paul Alter, of Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband (Steve), a daughter (Courtney), a son (Corey), a grandson (Brantley), her parents, a brother and two sisters, and a son-in-law.

A memorial service will be held, at New Life Church located, at 7010 East Thompson Road Indianapolis, IN. at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 4th, 2025, with family meeting there at 12:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Miller cemetery in Shelbyville, at a later date.
