Kaye Feddern Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Iowa Cremation - Cedar Rapids on Feb. 16, 2026.
Kaye Feddern, 91, of Marion, passed away peacefully on February 15th, 2026. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on February 23rd at First Presbyterian Church of Marion, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Kaye, the daughter of Royal and Miriam Lambert, was born on January 10, 1935, in Cedar Rapids. She attended Franklin High School and graduated with the Class of 1953. Later that year, she married the love of her life, Ed Feddern Jr. From this union, three daughters were born. After dedicating several years to raising her girls, Kaye worked for the Marion School District, the IRS, and Farmers State Bank.

She was a lifelong member of First Presbyterian Church of Marion and had previously attended Kenwood Presbyterian Church. She loved spending Februarys in Clearwater Beach, where she enjoyed visiting friends. She was also a loyal fan of the Hawkeye Women's Basketball team and the Indiana Fever.

Her family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Summit Pointe Senior Living, Bickford Senior Living, Mercy Hospice, and Mercy Hospice House for their compassionate care and support.

Kaye was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Feddern Jr., and her daughter, Donna Feddern.

Those left to cherish Kaye's memory include her daughters, Deanna (Richard) Delp and Sheryl (Mike) Sanders; her sister, Carole Donohue; and her sister-in-law, Sue Feddern. Kaye and Ed were blessed with eight grandchildren: Amy (Dave) Penrod, Melissa Delp, Jared (Kelly) Strait, Sarah (Tim) Jordan, Emily (Justin) Hahn, Corina Sanders (Kurt), Derek Strait, and Jesse Sanders; along with 17 great-grandchildren and cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she loved having in her life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Mercy Hospice and Mercy Hospice House.

She will always be remembered and forever missed.
