Rose Breen Obituary
Rose Breen, age 82 passed away July 23, 2025 peacefully in Edgewater, FL surrounded by loving family and pet "Scooby Doo".
Born December 6, 1942 and raised by parents Calogero and Serafina Curreri, Rose raised a family in Hazlet, and Holmdel, NJ. Rose finally achieved her dream of living on the oceanfront in Mantoloking, NJ moving there in 1987. In 2006 Rose moved to Florida eventually settling in Edgewater in 2009.
Rose was a homemaker, Realtor, G.R.I. and self made entrepreneur building a small portfolio of nice properties over many years. Rose was active in local activities and clubs including the " Red Hat Divas ", and other community groups.
Rose adored a vast amount of nieces, nephews and family. She was often chosen to be a godparent to many. " Casa Robie " was open to all who visited. Her home and heart were open to all as her umbrella was large. She shared her wisdom, counsel, and love unconditionally.
Rose was predeceased by her son Daniel ( 2002), also her brothers, Gerlando, Joseph, and sisters Josephine, Carmela, and Mary.
Rose is survived by her son David, and daughter, Deborah, also her sister, Elena Duff, and many generations of loving nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.
A funeral mass will be Monday, August 4, 2025 at St. Gerard's Roman Catholic Church in Edgewater, FL. Burial will follow at Sea Pines Memorial Park. Dudley Funeral Home is caring for Rose.
