Rose Cooper Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Voran Funeral Home - Allen Park Chapel on Oct. 1, 2025.
We gather in loving memory of Rose Cooper, a cherished soul who graced this world with her presence from August 14, 1929, until September 23, 2025. Born in Detroit to Michael and Anna Borcsane, Rose's life was a testament to the strength and beauty of familial bonds and the enduring power of faith.
Rose was the beloved wife of the late Donald Cooper, and together they built a life filled with love and devotion. She was the heart of her family, a loving mother to Craig (Susan) Cooper, the late Diane Cooper, Kathy Goodreau, Laura (Michael) Sterling, and Scott (Erin) Cooper. Her legacy extends through her cherished grandchildren Abby, Brent, Andre, Dione, Kevin, Marissa, Hannah, Matt, and Drew, as well as her adored great-grandchildren Dylan, Sloane, Addison, Ava, Cameron, Vivian, Aurelia, and Presley.
Those who knew Rose were blessed by her warmth and wisdom. She was often referred to as the best homemaker ever, a title she wore with pride and humility. Her Christian faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her. Rose's love for God was evident in the way she cared for her family, friends, and community.
A master of the culinary arts, Rose's cooking and baking were the highlights of many family gatherings, with her famous stuffed cabbage and Buchta being the stuff of legend. Her hands, always busy, were skilled in the art of sewing. She was a beacon of creativity and generosity, teaching neighborhood children the joys of embroidery on her front porch and sharing the beauty of her crochet work.
Rose's love for her husband Donald was a shining example of commitment and affection. Their 25th wedding anniversary was celebrated with a memorable trip to Hawaii, and their 50th was marked by a scenic train journey to California. These milestones were not only a celebration of their union but also a reflection of Rose's belief in the enduring power of love.
Her life was a tapestry of love and service, woven with threads of creativity and wisdom. Rose was the embodiment of a loving and wise matriarch, whose creative spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her guidance and love shaped her family, and her memory will continue to be a guiding light for generations to come.
As we bid farewell to Rose Cooper, we take solace in the knowledge that her spirit has found peace in the arms of the Lord. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. May she rest in eternal peace, and may her legacy of love and faith forever be a beacon to all who knew her.
