Rose Costanza Obituary
Costanza, Rose E. of Fairport, NY passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the age of 105. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Costanza; parents, Santo and Marie (Samone) Corino; siblings, Frank, John, Tony, Angelo, Christine, Josephine, Catherine and great-granddaughter, Kaiya Rae Purvis. Rose is survived by her children, William R. Costanza and Donna (Peter) Ferraraccio. Grandchildren, Melinda (Mark) Gindick; Edward (Monica) Ferraraccio, Andrea (Karl) Purvis.Great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Charlotte, Elizabeth Rose, Eliana, Raedyn, Josephine and several nieces and nephews.
Rose was born in Manchester, NY on September 22, 1917. She married the love of her life, Thomas Costanza on July 14, 1945 in Rochester, NY. Rose worked for Lanavara Bakery in Rochester where she was the lead Cannoli Maker for over 20 years. Rose also worked for Kodak, the YMCA and for Rochester Savings and Loan for 10 years. In her free time, Rose enjoyed knitting, reading and cooking, but she always cherished the time she spent with her family.
Friends are invited to join the family at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.) on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 1130AM to 130PM. Funeral service will follow visitation and begin at 130PM. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Golisano's Childrens Hospital In Rose's memory.
