Rose Marie Cox, 87, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026 in
Gilbert, AZ. Born on April 9, 1938 in
East Liverpool, OH, Rose lived a life centered on love, family, and quiet strength.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Salsberry and Grace Salsberry (Cook); her beloved husband, Richard Cox; her daughter, Sally Jo Sadegh (Cox); and her brothers, Harold Salsberry Jr. and Dennis Salsberry;. Though reunited with them now, she leaves behind a legacy that continues to flourish.
Rose is survived by her siblings Larry Salsberry and Jean Lamp (Salsberry); her daughter Marlene Sue Abdorrahimzadeh (Cox) and her husband Mehran Abdorrahimzadeh, her daughter Judith Ann Lynch (Cox) and her husband Todd Lynch, and her son John David Cox; her grandchildren Nathan Abdorrahimzadeh, Zachary Abdorrahimzadeh and his wife Cassidy, Ryan Lynch and his wife Jessica, Alexa Lynch (Cook) and her husband Cole, Courtney Sadegh, Taranee Sadegh, John David Cox Jr., and Grace Cox; and her great-grandchildren Mason, Nora, Kamran, and Ryder, who brought her tremendous joy.
Before marriage, Rose worked as a waitress and in a nursing home, where her caring nature was evident to all who knew her. After marrying Richard, she worked at a florist before dedicating herself fully to raising her children. Becoming a stay-at-home mother was the role she cherished most. She created a home filled with warmth, stability, and love. It was a place where her family always felt safe and cared for. Rose led by example, teaching her family the importance of loyalty, resilience, and unconditional love.
Her legacy lives on in the generations she nurtured and the family she held together with quiet strength. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
In lieu of public services, a private family gathering will be held at Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists in Calcutta on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
