Rose N DeClemente

Rose DeClemente (Antonucci) at age of 100, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025 at
home in Lindenwold, NJ, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 18, 1925 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and
Catherine Antonucci.
Rose was the beloved wife of the late-Angelos DeClemente married on July 4, 1945, with whom
she shared sixty-three wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life rooted in family,
faith, hard work and love. She found comfort in her Catholic faith and attending Mass regularly
for many years and cherished her time in prayer.
Rose worked for several companies over the years but loved the most working at the
Lindenwold school district as a lunch aide where her kindness touched many children.
Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren whose
accomplishments filled her with great pride. You could share anything with her – the smallest
joy or the biggest news – and she would be thrilled just to be a part of it.
Rose was the devoted mother of six children Peter (Barbara), Albert (Carol), James, Michael
(Patty), Kathryn Carter (late-Chip), and John (Leslie); Proud grandmother of sixteen
grandchildren Nancy, Kristina (David Countryman), Deborah (Colin Borgstrom), Scott, Lynn
(Buddy Losavio), Late-Laura, Lisa Watson, Rance Alper (Jenn), Michele (Karl Hughes), Jennifer
(Drew Robinson), Michael (Chris), Christopher Davis (Jenn), Jamie (Dennis Dietrich), Katelyn
Cater, Dianna and Alexa; Loving great grandmother of twenty-five great grandchildren Haley,
Riley, Samantha (Vince Garza), Sabrina, Zachary, Nathaniel, Albert, Lucy, Jordan, Amanda,
Stephanie (Jimmy Cicchino), Rhys, Ethan, Karlson, Jenna, Olivia, Drew, Michael, Liliana, Joey, AJ,
late-Zachary, Mackenzie, Dante and Damien; Great great grandmother of three Stella, Gracie
and Katerina.
In addition, to her parents and husband she was predeceased by her eight siblings, Josephine,
Carlotta Giordano, Philip, James, Marie Jones, Gloria Gunsallus, Clotilda & Marguerite.
Family and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, November 3rd, from 10:00–11:00am
at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Lawrence Church, 135 N. White Horse Pike, Lindenwold,
NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00am, with interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery
260 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rose's name to The Food Bank of
South Jersey, 1501 John Tipton Blvd, Pennsauken, NJ 08110.
