Jennings B. Stephenson

Jennings B. Stephenson, on January 18, 2026, of Gloucester Twp. Age 77. Beloved husband of the late Norberta Stephenson (nee Runfola). Loving father of Christina Pepe, Alicia Marquez (Patrick) and Erica Stephenson. Devoted grandfather of Mackenzie Stott, Sophia Pepe, Giovanni Pepe, Adrianna Santiago, Carmella Santiago and Kai Marquez. Dear brother of Kitty Weiskopf, Wanda Baker (Gary), Donna Futrell (Roby) and the late Veronica "Ronnie" Byrd and Nancy Latone. He is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews.

Jennings was born in Virginia and grew up as an amazing athlete, excelling in baseball and basketball. He enjoyed shooting pool and there was not a person who could beat him. In his younger years, he could often be found fishing and golfing. He took great pride in meticulously maintaining his lawn and often spent hours outside. Jennings was a veteran and previously served in the United States Army from 1969-1971.

He was known by all for his fantastic sense of humor and was always the comic relief at every event he attended. He spent a lot of time relaxing on his front porch while smoking a cigar and listening to music on his cassette tapes. He was extremely intelligent, loved all things trivia and enjoyed watching his games shows. There wasn't an episode of Maury or Jerry Springer that he ever missed.

He will mostly be remembered as the rock of his family and hero to his daughters and grandchildren. He loved his family fiercely and there is nothing he wouldn't for them. The world will never be the same without him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday, January 27, 2026 from 10:00AM -11:00AM at DANKS-HINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 125 N. White Horse Pike, Lindenwold. Funeral Service 11:00AM. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin.
