Rose Ann Hamilton, age 49, of Keokuk, Iowa, formerly of Brookfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, with family by her side and her mother holding her hand, at the Mississippi Valley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Keokuk. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield, with Dwight Curley officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery in Brookfield. Visitation will be held Monday, December 29, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Senate Bill 40, the Mississippi Valley Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center Activities Department, or the Linn County Animal Shelter. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Wright Funeral Home, P.O. Box 496 Brookfield, Missouri 64628. Rose Ann was born on January 30, 1976, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Ray Hamilton and Betty Sue (Sullivan) Hamilton. She was a 1994 graduate of Macon R-I High School in Macon, Missouri. Rose Ann found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved watching television, especially The Price Is Right where she could play along with her mother via FaceTime. She prayed morning and nightly prayers, enjoyed her kitties, playing cards and Yahtzee, and spending time with her family. She attended the Immaculate Conception Church in Brookfield. For more than ten years, Rose Ann worked at "This and That Shop" at Senate Bill 40. She truly enjoyed her work and had a happy heart, finding fulfillment in working with and serving others. She is survived by her parents, Susan Riley of Brookfield and Ray Hamilton and his wife, Paula, also of Brookfield; four brothers, Bennie Hamilton and fiancée Cassie of Brookfield, Michael Hamilton and wife Danielle of Brunswick, Ryan Clark and wife Stacey of Chillicothe, and Josh Woods of Moberly; one sister, Dedra Schulte and husband Cory of Lake St. Louis; two aunts, Mary Ann English of Texas and Patty Sullivan of Keytesville; and several cousins, other loving relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Kathryn Hollon and Avis Hamilton; her grandfather, Bennie Hamilton; and her uncle, Tim Sullivan.
