Rose Helmick Obituary
Rose Annette Helmick, 83, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away peacefully Monday, October 7, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Rose was born June 16, 1941 in Listowel, Ontario, Canada to the late, Stanley Campbell and Ethel McMaster. She married her best friend, Ron Helmick and created countless memories together.
In Rose’s spare time, she enjoyed playing games with her family and friends such as Skip-Bo and Scrabble. She would knit on cozy days and would go shopping on nice weathered days. She was a woman who also loved to travel, making her way not only to all 50 states, but to 5 continents and 49 countries. Above all, spending time with her close family brought her the most happiness in her lifetime.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Ron Helmick; 4 children, Tim Carruthers, Jim Carruthers, Alan Carruthers, and Bridgette Segraves; 11 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death is her parents; 1 daughter, Wendy Jedlicka, and 2 grandkids.
The Graveside Service for Rose will be held 11:00am on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Gentry Cemetery of Gentry, Arkansas. A livestream will be on Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home’s Facebook page.
