Rose Marie Hoefer

Rose Marie Hoefer, 86, of Hutchinson, went home to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Good Samaritan Society – Hutchinson Village. She was born March 13, 1938, in Hoxie, to Ira John and Lottie Mae (Davis) Hatten.
On August 20, 1955, Rose married Carroll Donald Hoefer at First Baptist Church, Hutchinson.
She is survived by: her son, Steve (Brenda) Hoefer of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Brandi Hemphill, Jonathon (Tiffani) Hoefer, Ashley Hoefer, Phillip Hoefer, Crimson (Jeff) Kellogg, Brianna Hoefer; six great-grandchildren; and brothers-in-law, Mike (Jill) Hoefer and Pat (Melva) Hoefer.
Rose was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Carroll; son, Tim Hoefer; daughter, Ruth Hoefer; brother-in-law, Phillip Hoefer and his wife, Ileine; and grandson-in-law, Brian Hemphill.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, September 5, 2024, Westside Baptist Church, 400 W. 12th Ave., Hutchinson. Burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at the church. The service will be livestreamed and can be viewed on the church's website.
Friends may sign her memorial book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Elliott Mortuary.
