Rose Marie Lawson. 89 of Marine, IL, born Friday, March 27, 1936, in East St. Louis, IL and she passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Rose Marie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed the time they spent together. She and Raymond enjoyed crafting and vending their craft pieces at Rose Maries Creations. Rose Marie enjoyed reading, being outside and sitting on her porch.

She was preceded in death by her husband whom she married February 12, 1955, in East St. Louis and he passed away on September 19, 2016; her parents, Fredrick Benjamin and Wanda Belle (nee Rolander) Wiscombe; and her brother William "Joe" Wiscombe.

Surviving are her children, Terri (Donald) Loyet of Marine, IL, Mitch (Vickie) Lawson, Marty (Paula) Lawson, Scott (Sherri) Lawson and Tim (Angie) Lawson all of Highland, IL; grandchildren, Jeremy (Mandy) Loyet, Christopher T. Loyet, Ashley Lawson, Allen (Micheala) Lawson, Adam Lawson, Michelle (Matthew) Parker, Michael (Jill) Lawson, Mark (Vanessa) Lawson, Samuel (Nicole) Lawson, Sawyer Lawson, Nicole Lawson, Cody Lawson, Savannah (Casey) Jensen and Nicole (Scott) Baquet; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Delaney, Finn, Archer, Rosie, Maggie, Rebecca, Andria, Boston, Charlotte, Jolene, Lyla, Dominick, Elora and Ansley and a great-grandbaby on the way; brother, Fred "Skip" Wiscombe of Waterloo, IL; and her sister, Anna Belle (Roy) Mulliniks of Marine, IL; nieces, nephews, cousin and many dear friends.

Visitation for Rose Marie will be from 10 to 10:45 am on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 10:45 am on Thursday at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL with Rev. Matt Embry officiating. Interment will be in Marine City Cemetery, Marine, IL.
