Rose Marie (Repoff) Majczyk age 91, of Erie, PA, passed away on January 29, 2026, at LECOM Residential Center. Born on September 13th, 1934, daughter to the late Peter and Tillie (Pamula) Repoff.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Joseph A. Majczyk who passed away on February 10, 2004; her brother Peter Repoff her sister Barbara Repoff Russell both of Erie, PA; and a son-in-law, John Newman who passed away last year.

She attended St. Ann's School and East High School in Erie. She worked at Hamot Medical Center until she had children. She became busy raising her family, being quite active in school volunteering and spending time with relatives. Family was the center of her life. Rose was an amazing cook and baker which she loved to do. Grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved holiday family gatherings, being surrounded by children was truly her happy place. She never met anyone that didn't love her zest of life.

Survivors include her loving children who adorned her, Debbie (Majczyk) Dombrowski, husband Daryl, of Mentor, Ohio; Darlene (Majczyk-MacKrell) Newman of Erie; Sherry (Majczyk) Suprock, husband Mark, of Cornelius, NC; Michael Majczyk, fiancé Noelle Terrill, of Erie; Mark Majczyk, wife Amy, of Pittsburgh, PA; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; her brother Jack Repoff of Atlanta GA; and sister Carol Rasavage of Cambridge Springs, PA.

A special thank you to the amazing team at LECOM Residential Center the doctors, nurses, staff and residents who became her second family.

Friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at Our Lady of Peace Church at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Her spark of life will always be remembered. She'll be celebrating in heaven with her husband Joseph on their anniversary of 71 years, January 29th.

I will miss u aunt Rose u were a beautiful person and very lovable.U were funny and social able person. Now u are not in pain u got ur wings yesterday and up there with uncle Joe.u will be sadly missed u only met one of kids my daughter when she was ababy.Rest in Peace Aunt Rose .
