Rose Marie Naputano. Age 78. Longtime Countryside resident, raised in Chicago's Garfield Ridge Neighborhood. Born August 22, 1946, passed away quietly with her longtime friends by her side, Fr Leonard Dubi and Sandy Rieckman, on July 30, 2025. Graduate of St Daniel the Prophet Catholic Grammar School and Mt Assisi High School. Received her Bachelor's in Teaching from the University of Illinois Chicago. Sisters of Charity in Leavenworth, Kansas where she became a Nun for 5 years. Received her Master's Degree in Counseling from Northeastern University. Her entire working career was a Counselor/Teacher in the Catholic School System starting at Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart, then onto Maria High School, and retiring from St Joseph Catholic High School/Immaculate Heart of Mary (aka IHM). A Devoted Catholic. Daughter of the late Rosalie nee Liberti and Ralph Naputano. Sister of Francine O'Sullivan and the late Grace Otto. Aunt of Charlotte Malkowski and the late Jess (Paula) Naputano. Great aunt of Cheryl (Stahl) Malkowski, Kailey (Edgar) Bocanegra, Joey Malkowski, Jess Malkowski, Josh Jewell and Matt Mastandrea. Great aunt of Autumn and Mallory. Godmother of Raphael Burgos. Dear friend of many. Family and friends will gather at St Anne Church, 16801 South Dixie Hwy, Hazel Crest on Saturday August 23, 2025 from 9:00am until time of Funeral Mass 10:00am.
