Joseph G. Jacobucci, 86, peacefully passed away on August 13, 2025. Born June 23, 1939, Joe was a Greenwood, IN resident, formerly of Colorado Springs, CO, and Chicago Heights, IL. Graduate of Bloom High School, Class of 1957.

Proudly served in the Illinois National Guard. Former Beautician and owner of Joseph's Hair Design in Thornton, IL, and Co-owner of Longo's Fireside Restaurant on Union Avenue in Steger, IL. Retired member of Teamsters Union Local #786 as a Truck Driver for K&J Trucking, Dolci Trucking, and Brites Cartage after many years of service. Along with spending time with his family and friends, Joe had a passion for riding his Harley-Davidson and was a true motorsport enthusiast who enjoyed boating, water skiing, snowmobiling, go-karting, and enduro motorcycling. He was also an avid fan of stock car racing.

Father of Guy (Brianna) Jacobucci and Jill (Brian) Brames. Grandfather "Papa Joe" of Emma, Jake, and Addison Jacobucci, Mia and Matteo Brames, Mason and Sienna Jacobucci. Son of the late Jennie nee LoBue and the late Guy Jacobucci. Stepson of the late Mary Pignotti Squeteri Jacobucci. Brother of the late Argia Jacobucci Gray, Emil (Cheryl) Teri, and the late Marilyn Squeteri (Edgar) Brown. Ex-husband of Karen (Apponi) Jacobucci. Uncle, cousin, and friend of many.

Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th Street (US Rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Saturday, August 23, 2025 10:15 am from funeral home to San Rocco Oratory, 315 22nd Street, Chicago Heights. Mass 11:00 am. Interment Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Steger, IL.
