Charles B. "Chuck" Jacobucci

In loving memory of "Papa Chuck" Jacobucci, 96, passed peacefully into the loving arms of Our Lord and Savior on March 8th, 2025 at his home of 69 years surrounded by family.
Born in Chicago, in 1929, Chuck lived a life full of love, faith, and dedication to his family. He was married to his beloved wife, Elizabeth "Betty", for 71 wonderful years, a testament to their deep love and commitment. Together, they built a beautiful family-raising six children and being blessed with 25 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A hard working and compassionate Superintendent for the Nash Construction Company, and member of the IUOE Local 150, Chuck dedicated decades to his craft, officially retiring at the age of 84. Even then, he remained a guiding force in the lives of those he loved. For the last 18 months, he had a very compassionate and skilled caregiver, as his wife, at 94 needed assistance in caring for him.
In his final days, he was under hospice care for just two days before passing peacefully at home, exactly as he would have wanted.
His family was blessed to have the opportunity to tell him how deeply he was loved and appreciated, reassuring him that "his Honey" would be well cared for. While he will be profoundly missed, his family finds peace in knowing they will see him again one day.

Visitation Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at COLONIAL-WOJCIECHOWSKI FUNERAL HOME 6250 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago. Funeral services Thursday, March 13, starting with prayers at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home, proceeding to St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass.
