Rose A. Varisco

Rose A. Varisco, age 66, of Mars, died peacefully on January 17, 2026 in AHN Wexford Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 5, 1959, daughter of Rosemary Miovas Seelnacht and the late Carl Seelnacht. Beloved wife for 40 years of Frank J. Varisco. Loving mother of Nicole Varisco (Kraig Reed), Stephen Varisco, and Anthony Varisco (Maura). Sister of Carl Seelnacht, Jr. (Valerie), Audrey Given (Joseph), and Eric Seelnacht. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends received Wednesday 2-8 p.m. at Schellhaas Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd., 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Kilian Church, St. Mark Parish. Interment will follow in Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery.

Rose had a heart of gold and lived for other people. Her father called her the "Family Oak Tree", always putting family and friends before herself, offering an ear and counsel when most needed, often privately. Rose was the one to host holidays, birthdays, and milestone events, and loved to make sure everyone was included and remembered. She will be dearly missed.
