Rose D. Venittelli, 96, of Lakewood, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family.
Born and raised in Plainfield, Rose later resided in North Plainfield for many years before making her home in Lakewood. She carried with her the values of faith, family, and community throughout her long and meaningful life.
Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband, Fulgier “Bee” Venittelli, who passed away in 2003. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and partnership, and together they built a beautiful family that remained the center of Rose’s world.
She was a devoted and loving mother to Gary and his wife Diane of Toms River, NJ; Keene Venittelli of Lakewood, NJ; Scott and his wife Irene Venittelli of Edison, NJ; and Kim and her husband Leon Aboosamara of South Plainfield, NJ. Rose’s greatest joy was her family, and she cherished every moment spent with her children.
She was the proud and loving grandmother of ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild, each of whom brought immense happiness to her life. Her warmth, wisdom, and gentle spirit will continue to live on through them.
Rose will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering dedication to her family, and the love she so freely shared. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and strength that will be treasured always.
Family and friends are welcome to visit on Sunday, March 1st from 4-6pm in Scarpa Las Rosas Funeral Home, 22 Craig Place North Plainfield, NJ 07060.
