Rose Williams (Cellitti)
Born – March 31st, 1945 – Victory Won -September 5, 2025
For those that didn't know:
To know our grandmother was to know love, devotion, loyalty, commitment and grace. She poured her heart and soul into our family on a daily basis all the way to the bitter end. She continually showed all of us how much we meant to her, how much we meant to the world and never once let anyone put themselves down or talk poorly about someone. Devout in her faith from the day she accepted Christ as her personal savior, she faithfully attended Watson's Chapel in
Madisonville, TN where she was active and helped with Sunday School classes for Children, church events and spent time with her "church ladies' friends".
Rose Cellitti was born March 31, 1945 in Rockford Il, to Joseph Fred and Eva Marie Cellitti. Shortly after 6:00 AM she departed this life into a swift sunrise to go home with our Heavenly Father for eternity. Rose married Calvin Lee Williams of Tellico Plains on August 10, 1963 after having met and fell in love at first sight (the way she told it) at the Hollywood Diner in Rockford, IL and they spent the last 62 years happily married and in love. She worked many years at Sea Ray Boat Company in Vonore, TN and made many friends in her tenure there, until her retirement, when her love of travel with Calvin took flight, including trips to the Rocky Mountains, the Bahamas, the Grand Canyon, Disney World with her grandchildren, trips to Illinois to visit her vast family and multiple trips to Florida to lounge on the beach and sift for shark teeth and loved spending time with and cooking for her family. She and Calvin would constantly brag on their family and often pointed out that their granddaughter was a nurse and all three of her grandsons were Eagle Scouts. Rose is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Fred and Eva Marie (Krpan) Cellitti, brothers, Dennis Cellitti (Lynn), David Cellitti, Mike Cellitti (Penny), Jeff Cellitti (Sue), Bill (Blaire) Cellitti and Robert Cellitti Paravala (Melanie), nephew, Anthony Cellitti, great nephew, Gregory Cellitti, Mother-in-law & Father-in-law Reed & Reba Williams, Sisters-in-law, Lilian Bibee (JC), Mildred Wattenbarger (Garland), brothers-in-law Ralph Williams (Janice), RL Tucker (Betty Jo).
