Rose Wright Obituary
Rose worked at Pepperidge Farms, in the bread division, the Motor Inn and retired from the Thorndale Acme, where she worked in the bakery department. She loved baking and cooking wonderful wholesome meals and immensely cherished entertaining and feeding company. When able, she was skilled in and enjoyed crocheting, painting and drawing, gardening, puzzles, and loved to win at the casino. She never missed a Phillies game and rooted for the Eagles and Penn State football teams. She will be dearly missed by all of those that were graced by knowing her.
Rose Marie's actions were driven by her beliefs that anyone could be Jesus and one should always be welcoming, generous and give, don't ask. Her passion was to make sure visitors were fed well and enjoyed their stay. She was a great caregiver that has earned her a very special place in heaven.
On Friday, April 18, 2025, a private service will be held graveside at the Northwood Cemetery, Downingtown followed by a Celebration of Life for friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that you send donations, in Rose's name, to the St. Jude’s Hospital, Memphis, TN.
Flowers may be sent to the James J. Terry Funeral Home in Downingtown for proper positioning at the cemetery.
