Rose Ann Youngkin, 85, Cuyahoga Falls, went home to be with the Lord on January 8, 2026. Rose Ann was born in Johnstown, PA and was the daughter of the late Emmet and Martha Spotts. She was a 1958 graduate of Tallmadge High School. In 1961, Rose Ann met the love of her life Floyd, and they shared 64 years of marriage. They had 3 children and 2 grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family, going to Broadway shows and traveling with her husband all over the world. Rose Ann’s faith was very important to her and she was a member of First United Methodist Church in Cuyahoga Falls for 57 years. Her age did not get in her way when it came to embracing technology and she loved playing games and reading books on her iPad. Rose Ann has always had a special place in her heart for her cats and Pat Boone.
Preceded in death by her parents Emmet and Martha Spotts and her sister Bertha “Bay” Stump.
Rose Ann will be missed by her husband, Floyd Youngkin; children, Donald (Melody) Youngkin, Charlene (Bruce) Morris, Steven Youngkin; grandchildren, Nicole Youngkin and Ashley (Ben) Luecke; niece, Sharon Stump; and many other family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front Street, Cuyahoga Falls 44221. On Monday, January 12, 2026, at 12 pm also at the Clifford Shoemaker Funeral Home a funeral service will be held. Burial will take place at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park immediately following the funeral service.
