Roseann E. Reif, 81, of Milton, Wl, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Rainbow Hospice in Johnson Creek, surrounded by her loving family. Roseann was born on September 18, 1943, in Rozelleville, WI, to Daniel and Elizabeth (Kohlbeck) Guldan. She graduated from Marshfield High School and married her high school sweetheart, Don Reif, on September 23, 1961. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Roseann cherished time spent with her family. She was known for hosting holiday gatherings, card clubs, and Packer's game parties, always ensuring that those around her felt welcome and loved. Roseann's warmth and hospitality extended beyond her family to many friends and acquaintances, earning her the affectionate nickname "Everybody's Grandma." Roseann had a wide variety of passions and talents. She was an avid 4-H leader, enjoyed sewing and crocheting, and even played for St. Mary's Old Ladies Softball team. She was a long-time member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Milton, where she was a faithful participant in church events. Roseann was also well known for her beehive hairdo and her time spent waitressing at the Janesville Oasis. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years, including serving as the Milton Town Treasurer, but her greatest joy came from supporting her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and their many friends in all their endeavors. Roseann is survived by her loving husband, Don Reif; daughters Cindy Anderson, Carrie Rogers (Mark), and Connie Negus (Mike); 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson; her brother Roger Guldan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Elizabeth Guldan; 4 brothers; 1 sister; and her son-in-law, Robert Anderson. A Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Milton. Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services in Milton, and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations may be made to the Rainbow Hospice Foundation. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to her caregiver, Jane, and to Kendra, Sarah, and the entire staff at Rainbow Hospice for their compassionate care. The Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
