Roseann Wallace, known lovingly as Twin to her sister and late husband Jack, passed peacefully at 91 on September 11, 2025.
At 16, Roseann met the love of her life, Jack Wallace, and together they raised 4 children: Tim, Steve, Dave and Joanne, who were the center of their worlds. Roseann was a caring and loving mother, providing unconditional love to her 4 kids. Even later in life, you could find Roseann dressed to the nines with her hair beautifully done, red lips and nails.
Everyone that met Roseann loved her for her warm smile, genuine laugh, and unwavering optimism.
Her deep love for her family extended to her 9 grandkids: babysitting after school, cheering at sporting events, and most fondly, sharing weekly Saturday breakfasts at the Pilgrim Diner (which were never missed!).
Roseann will be deeply missed. Her ability to bring people together and make each family member feel so special leaves a void in our lives that can never be filled. As Roseann said in her final weeks, "9 grandkids, 2 great grandkids and a third on the way, 4 children, and 68 years with the love of my life, what more could you want."
Roseann is survived by her friend and caregiver of over 15 years, Grace Rodriguez.
We feel at peace knowing she is reunited with her husband, baby Jack, mother, father, and siblings in heaven.
A Mass of Christian Burial is planned for Monday, September 15, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at St. Cassian R.C. Church, 187 Bellevue Ave., Montclair, N.J. 07043. Please meet directly at the church. Interment at Hillside Cemetery, Lyndhurst will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove.
