Roseanne Kerwin Obituary
Roseanne was known for her gentle spirit, unwavering love for family, and a special bond with animals. Whether it was caring for a beloved pet or showing kindness to a stray, she carried a warmth that touched all living things. Friends and family remember her for her ability to bring comfort, laughter, and unconditional love into every space.
She is reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband, William Kerwin III, and her sister Angie Motes.
She is survived by her daughter, Angelina Carson; son-in-law Paul Carson; and grandson Gabriel Carson. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Kelly Jonassen, her husband John Jonassen and their children Jack, Natalie, and Annabelle; as well as her step-son William Kerwin IV, his wife Maggie Cameron and his son Phoenix. In addition, she is survived by her mother, Joanne Whittaker; and several loving siblings, Greg Whittaker, Cece DiAngelo, Steven Whittaker, Marie Weimer, Monica Sauer, Victoria Soto, Andy Whittaker, and Christy D'Addio.
Family was at the center of Roseanne's life, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Her deep appreciation for life's simple joys, whether in nature, at family gatherings, or in quiet reflection, remains a lasting example of how to live fully and lovingly.
Roseanne will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved her. Her legacy of kindness, love for family, and compassion for animals will continue to live on through the lives she touched.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 15, at Saint Paul's Catholic Church in Hague, VA. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
