Rosella Alma Laabs, 92, Morrison, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025.
She was born on August 30, 1933, in Seymour to the late Edward and Christina (Ulman) Klarner. In 1954 she was united in marriage to Robert Laabs. Rosella sold Avon for 20 plus years, while raising her two sons. She enjoyed Horse & Pony Pulls, and was active as a leader in 4H, and enjoyed helping show cattle at the Brown Co. Fair. Rosella was so proud of her two sons; Wesley for the many years of hard work at White Clover Dairy, and Ronald for being a licensed cheese maker and the awards that came with that. Rosella enjoyed Polka music and dancing. She was a member of the Jerry Voelker Club as well as the Happy Hoppers Club.
She is survived by her sons; Wesley (Jean) Laabs, and Ron Laabs. Grandchildren; Barry, Karen (Dave), Kevin (Jenny), Kurt (fiancé Heather). And Kim (Tyler). Great grandchildren; Matthew, Jessica, Morgan, Emma, Owen, Mason, Morgan, Adien, Austin, Cecilia, Luke, Logan, Cassia, Levi, Tyler, as well as her brother Melvin Klarner.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, three infant children, her four brothers: Robert (Lucy), Norman (Betty), Edward (Betty), Herbert (Gladys), sisters Mildred (Clyde) Campbell and Marie DeKeyser; sister-in-law Nancy Klarner; brother-in-law Walter Genz; nephews Jerome Campbell, Duane Campbell, Tom Klarner, Ken Klarner, David Klarner, Gary DeKeyser, Keith Klarner and Kenneth Genz.
Friends may call at St. John Lutheran Church 206 Plum Road, Wrightstown, Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 1:00PM until time of Service at 3:30PM with Pastor Robert Wilke officiating. Burial to Follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Greenleaf. Nickel Funeral Home, Morrison is assisting the family.
