Rosemary Crowson Obituary
Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Rosemary Tornatore Crowson, 94, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday November 14, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA with Rev. Neil Wigley officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from Noon until service time at Mulhearn’s.
Mrs. Crowson went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Crowson was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and a longtime member of the Progressive Men’s Club Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time cooking with her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Marvin Crowson, her parents, Jake and Anna Tornatore; brother, P. J. Tornatore; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lucille Tornatore and Jesse LaPietra and Anna Tornatore and H. J. (Frenchie) DeMers.
Survivors: her children, Virginia Puckett and husband, Billy, Rocky Guirlando, Joe Guirlando and wife, Peggy, and Rosie Sikes and husband, Ricky; brother, Sam Tornatore; grandchildren, David Day, Casey Guirlando, Jessica Scoggins and husband, Matt, Brandon Sikes (Allison), Seth Sikes, Ricky Sikes, and Casey Accardo (Robbie); Great Grandchildren, Sydney Accardo, Kristin Joseph (Tyler), Zachary Day, Kevin Day (Bridget), Baylee Day, Rocco Caden Guirlando, Adley Rye, Hunter Scoggins, Slade Scoggins, Maggie Scoggins, and Celeste Sikes; great great grandchildren, Noah and Koen Joseph, and Oakley Day; numerous nieces and nephews and her very special great great niece, Scarlett Hammond, who she called Meme.
Pallbearers will be David Day, Zachary Day, Tyler Joseph, Casey Guirlando, Brandon Sikes and Seth Sikes. Honorary Pallbearer will be Wiley Gates.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
The family would like to give special thanks to her Godchild, Cathy Gates, for all her love and care given to our mother, and Charlotte and Debbie at Ascend Hospice.
