Rosemary Schaefer Obituary
April 25, 1925 – January 8, 2026
Our beloved mother, Rosemary Schaefer, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 8, 2026. She was born on April 25, 1925 in Rulo, Nebraska to Charles and Lucille Sellars.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Jr., sister Ginny, son, Bobby Lewis, son-in-law James Froehlich, and her husband Leslie Schaefer.
She is survived by daughters Barbara Froehlich (Leroy), Donna Johnson (Mel), and step daughter Claire Smithson (Rick) and numerous grand and great-grandchildren!
A huge thank you to Jerry and Jasmin Yatco and the caregivers of Arcadia Family Care, where mom spent the last 10 1/2 years, under their watchful eyes. A special thank you to Hoffmann Hospice for their excellent care and compassion for our sweet mother.
Our mother had a gentle and quiet servant's heart, until the end, always concerned about others around her! She will be deeply missed. We love you mom and look forward to spending eternity with you!
Mom repeated this verse everyday: This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
