Rosemary H. Zimmer

Rosemary H. (Slyman) Zimmer, age 93, of Erie, passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 7, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on September 8, 1932, she was one of 10 children of the late Lawrence Slyman, Sr. and Mary (Malone) Slyman.
Rosemary retired from Johnson Controls, where she worked as an inspector, after 30 years of service. She enjoyed watching game shows and playing bingo. She loved animals, especially dogs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Gerard E. "Pops" Zimmer, and eight siblings.
She is survived by her children, Jim Zimmer (Coral), Laurie Walizer (Randy), Patty Berchtold (Ken), Kerry Zimmer (Beth) and Mike Zimmer (Carolyn); six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; her brother, Paul Slyman, wife Karen; three sisters-in-law, Hannelaura Slyman, Dottie Slyman and June Zimmer; and many nieces and nephews.
Services for Rosemary are private. Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 W. 38th Street is assisting with arrangements.
