Tabitha Nicole Zimmer, born on March 8, 1987, in Wiesbaden, Germany, passed away peacefully at home on November 29, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of culinary excellence and cherished memories that will forever resonate with her family and friends.

Tabitha dedicated over ten years of her life to the culinary arts, establishing herself as a prominent baker and pastry chef. Her esteemed career included positions at the Brick Oven, Eve's Cafe, and Pies and Fries restaurants, where she honed her skills and delighted patrons with her talent. A proud graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, Austin with a certificate in Patisserie and Baking, and The Art Institute of Austin where she earned an Associate's degree in Baking and Pastry, showcasing her passion and commitment to her craft.

Her family fondly remembers the Thanksgiving tradition she started, where she would gather with loved ones to create pies for the church's Thanksgiving baskets and the Grace Giving dinner. This beloved family event became a hallmark of the holiday season, illustrating her unwavering dedication to both her family and her community.

In addition to her professional achievements, Tabitha found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved camping adventures with her daughter, Ariella, and their dog, Kali. Her enthusiasm for exploring the outdoors was matched by her intriguing interest in ghost hunting, a testament to her adventurous spirit and zest for life.

Tabitha's proudest accomplishments were evident in her exceptional baking skills. A true artist in the kitchen, she turned the art of baking into a canvas where she could express her creativity. She was particularly renowned for her scones, which won the hearts of even those who were typically averse to them. Her repertoire included an array of cookies, cakes, and an undeniable passion for making various breads, which brought joy to many.

She is survived by her father, Paul Zimmer; her mother, Tonia Zimmer; her beloved daughter, Ariella Zimmer; her sister, Heather Zimmer; and her nephew, Aiden Zimmer. Each of them holds dear the countless memories and the remarkable influence Tabitha had on their lives.
