Lorraine Griggs

 "We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Lorraine Griggs who left us on January 27, 2026, at the age of 89. Lorraine was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who touched the hearts of many with her kindness and compassion. She was born on March 16,1936 in Memphis, Tennessee, where she spent much of her early life. Lorraine was known for her unwavering dedication to her family and her community. She worked as a store manager for several years, spreading laughter and joy to those around her. Lorraine was known for her zesty personality bold attitude, enthusiasm, and always going to tell it how it is honesty. She loved spending time watching tennis, playing bingo, and creating beautiful memories with her loved ones. Lorraine’s laughter, warmth, and integrity were the hallmark of her character. She leaves behind her loving husband Charlie Griggs; her two children, Arbria and Charlie; her five grandchildren Donald, Charles , Kasemea, Charlie and Alphonso. Seven great grandchildren; Tiana, Tysen, Tayla, Tessa, Michael, Tristan, and Zora who will forever miss her beautiful and bold spirit. Thank you for giving us the tools of life and being there every step of the way! We love you forever and always, until we meet again."
