It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rosendo C. Ramos Sr., a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Rosendo was a family man through and through. He cherished time spent with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren, with whom he shared countless moments of laughter, wisdom, and love. Whether he was cheering on his favorite teams ----The Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys----or enjoying a peaceful day at the beach fishing, Rosendo found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

He is survived by his loving sister, Juanita R. DeLaRosa, and his devoted children: Rosendo Ramos Jr. and his spouse Esmeralda, Rose Ann and her spouse Albert Samilpa, and Yvonne and her spouse Javier Cruz. Rosendo C. Ramos Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, Miguel Ramos Sr., and Herminia C. Ramirez, as well as his son Edward Ramos. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Miguel C. Ramos II, Clara R. Martinez, Jose C. Ramos, Tomasa R. Alvarado, Celia R. Martinez, Juan Ramos, and Petra R. Hernandez. Also uncle and aunt Refugio and Adela Cortinas.

Rosendo C. Ramos Sr. was the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren: Monica, Michael, Josie, Albert Jr., Adrian, Allison, Isaac, Marcus, Chelsea, Amanda, and Benjamin. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Rosendo Ramos III and Richard Saenz III. His legacy continues through his 16 great grandchildren, whose lives he touched deeply with his love and presence.

Rosendo's warmth, laughter, and unwavering love for his family will be dearly missed but never forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
