Rosetta Ferguson Obituary
She was born on August 19, 1947 to the late Ernest and Thelma Francis Jenkins.
Rosetta was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend and was truly loved by all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Virgil Ferguson. In addition, she is also survived by her children: Virgil Ferguson Jr, Anthony Ferguson, Dianna (Bryan) Anderson, Danny (Christy Click) Ferguson, Jennifer (Travis) Tackett, and Josh (Jenny) Ferguson. Rosetta was a wonderful Mamaw to a multitude of grandchildren including: Luke and Carter Ferguson, Bradley, Hunter, and Janelle Tackett, Hunter Ferguson, Alexis Click, Keegan and Lindsey Anderson, and Patrick and Geanna Ferguson. Surviving siblings are Ernest (Nieda) Jenkins Jr and Mark Judd.
Preceding in death are a son, Donnie Gene Ferguson and a daughter, Joann Ferguson. Also preceding in death are a host of siblings: Buddy Jenkins, Benjamin Jenkins, Robert Jenkins, Gertrude Jenkins, Rushie Jenkins, Geraldine Jenkins, James Ray Jenkins, Carl Jenkins, William Edward Jenkins, Margaret Jenkins, Wildvon Jenkins and Wanda Jenkins.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday at Christian Union Church with Tim Salyers, Rodney King, and Arthur Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow at Camant-Fields Cemetery, Flat Gap. Friends may visit the Christian Union Church on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.
