Rosetta Worley, 89, of Marshall, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026. She was a lifelong resident of Madison County and the daughter of the late Burnette Carlton and Belle Capps Worley. Rosetta was a member of Alexander Baptist Church. She loved her home, cooking and canning, an avid gardener, and farmer and working her land.
In addition to her parents, Rosetta is preceded in death by three sisters, Novena Buckner, Gelema Worley, and Sylvia Freeman, and five brothers, Cleates, Glamer, Lamer, McKinley, and Layfatte Worley.
Rosetta is survived by a special niece, Gail Bowens, special nephew, Billy Worley, special great nephew, Bruce Bowens; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and 3 great-great-great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Blue Ridge Funeral & Cremation Service. Reverends Gerald Sprinkle & Rev. Gary Fender will officiate. The burial will follow in North Fork Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
