Rosette Volmar, 66 years of age passed on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.
Rosette was born November 15, 1957 in La Gonave, Haiti to the late Dazilia Joseph and Densiker Volmar. She was the oldest of ten children, one preceded her death.
Rosette had five children. She came to America in 1980 and settled in Fort Pierce in 1987. Most of her career was spent working in the agriculture industry. Up until the time of her passing she worked at Silver Line Plastics and was adamant about going back to the job she loved despite not being well. Rosette was a member of the Independent Haitian Assembly of God under the leadership of the late Reverend Esperant Lexine and then found her new home church of Nouvelle Eglise de Dieu Primitive where she was baptized and recommitted her life to the Lord.
Rosette loved her children and loved her family her new found place in the church choir and women's group. She absolutely loved dancing to praise worship and her Popeyes mashed potatoes. She put her all into buying and shipping goods to send overseas to provide for her family back home and up until her last days she would make a way provide for her family in Haiti.
Rosette leaves behind her children: Jelima Castel, Odette Castel (deceased), Jackson Carrier (Fabienne Carrier), Franz Innocent, and Donna Renaud; grandchildren: James Louis, Weeky Alphonse, Carter Houston, Jason Prospere, Lensey Residor, Keirsten Carrier, Jacob Servilus, Kaeliegh Carrier; brothers: Dieune Doremil, Wilfred Doremil, Jacques Doremil, Line Doremil; sisters: Benila Doremil, Jesulen Doremil, Martha Doremil, Luna Doremil (deceased); nieces: Linda Dolce (Belange Dolce), Belynda Dolce, Maya Dolce, Novah Grace Dolce; nephews: Jeson Dolce, Billy Dolce, Bryce Dolce, Jean-Rodil Doremil, Wilford Guensley, Sad Doremil; like sons: Jerry Loussaint and Sam Loussaint; her very good friends: Madame Examine and Gladys Laguerre; as well as countless nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
