Rosie Barber Obituary

Rosie Barber, born on Oct. 13, 1944, peacefully departed this world on March 18, 2025. A beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Rosie is survived by her five children, J.C. (Amy) Barber, Clara (Adam) Lawrence, Silas (Dee) Barber, Laura (Stu) Stygles, and Lyle (Lisa) Barber, as well as nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who cherished her deeply.

Rosie was known for her creativity, and nurturing spirit. She found joy in quilting, knitting, and crocheting, frequently sharing her handcrafted treasures with family and friends. Her passion for gardening, particularly her beautiful purple irises, reflected her love for nature and beauty in everyday life.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 24, at the Lone Chapel Cemetery in Pryor, Oklahoma. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Rosie's memory and celebrate her extraordinary life. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered for the love and kindness she shared with all who were fortunate to know her.
