She leaves behind her husband Philip Pleas Glen Cathers; two children Keara Faith Overbay & husband Trevor, Kennadi Aaliyah Cathers; her mother, Helen Minton Fultz; all of London, KY; four siblings, Pauline Burkhart & husband Emmanuel of East Bernstadt, KY, Mitchell Minton of London, KY, Tyrone Love of Manchester, KY, Syreeta Love of Lexington, KY; two godchildren, Cody Ray Burkhart, Brooklyn Danielle Burkhart; plus, a host of other nieces, nephews, family and many friends to cherish her memory.
Rosie was preceded in death by her father, Charles W. Love; and two precious boys, Kendric Logan Cathers & Cristian Daniel Cathers.
Rosie loved her family, loved Jesus, and truly loved life. She was known for her spark that could light up a room and for her deep compassion for others. Rosie always went out of her way to help families in need and poured her whole heart into everything she did. She had a growing desire to see the youth in her church, Swiss Colony Holiness, grow strong in their faith and walk with the Lord.
She cherished family gatherings, time spent with loved ones, and especially enjoyed trips to the beach. At Senture, where she served as an exceptional supervisor, Rosie mothered many of her coworkers-offering encouragement, guidance, and care as if they were her own. Fiercely loyal and protective, she stood up for the people she loved and inspired everyone around her to give their best.
Rosie's spark, compassion, and strength made her truly one of a kind. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
A funeral service honoring Rosie Minton Cathers will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with George Adams and Jess Kemp officiating and Kendra Cole ministering in music. Interment will follow at the Bruner cemetery in Hoophole, KY. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 16, 2025 beginning at 6:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
