Rosie David Obituary Rosie L. David, 84, of Valparaiso, passed away on February 1, 2025. She was born on October 17, 1940, in Mill Run, Pennsylvania, to Edward and Ruthie (Bowers) Leasure. On July 31, 1964, in Winchester, Virginia, she married Clarence E. David, who preceded her in death. Rosie worked as a service advisor in the trucking industry before retiring. She had a love for food and supporting local mom and pop restaurants. While relaxing she would have her old country music playing while she would be working her crossword puzzles. Rosie enjoyed living life and always encouraged her family to do what they want. She lived her life wild and self proclaimed she wanted to be known for her love of good looking men and being an incurable flirt. She lived a wonderful life in Starlight Trailer Park for 54 years and that is where she met her best friend Donna Hamm. She is survived by her children Duane E. Leasure, Diana L. (David) Ezinga, David C. (Robbin) David, Devra D. Leonard and 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence E David, parents Edward and Ruthie Leasure, daughters Renae Siurek and Phyllis Johnson, her siblings Goldie Wulderk, Vernie Shallenberger, Sylvia Shipley, Russell Leasure and her best friend Donna Hamm. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM, at Bartholomew Funeral Home, and from 10:00 AM on Friday until the time of service. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Bartholomew Funeral Home. The family has requested that memorial donations be made to the donors choice in lieu of flowers.
