Rosie Mary Davis, 79, of Mobile, Alabama, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025. Born November 19, 1945, to the late Norman and Emma Louise Allen, she was a devoted lifelong member of Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, where she served faithfully in many ministries, including as the first female General Superintendent of Sunday School. She retired after more than 20 years with the Mobile County Public School System. Rosie was known for her creativity in decorating church bulletin boards, her deep love for family, and her famous 7UP pound cake. She is survived by her daughters, Detric Deneen Davis and Colleen Monique Jackson; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of loving relatives, including her siblings Major (Christine) Allen, Geraldine (Tommy) Lester, Patricia Allen Maddox, Martharine Pitts, and Jesse L. Allen; and her Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church family.
