Rosie Jean Thomas

Rosie Jean Thomas age 82 of Kingston went home to be with the Lord on November 18, 2025. Rosie was a faithful member of Cave Creek Baptist Church for 50 years and during that time she was an assistant Sunday school teacher and the church Janitor. She was a babysitter for many years and then went to work at Value Line Textiles until her retirement. Rosie loved her family and her church. She also loved her dog companion friend, Princess.
Rosie was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Elden Thomas; mother, Ruth Watts; grandsons: Dustin Branson and Jerry Hawkins; son-in-law, Delbert Bell.
Survived by her children: Crystal Sexton (Jeremy), John Thomas (Alicia), and Janie Bell; grandchildren: Sydnie Thomas, Braydon Thomas, Hanna Sexton, and Nikki Hawkins; great-grandson, Joshua Hawkins; siblings, Clara Fletcher and Alan Watts (Missy); brother-in-law, Paul Thomas and sister-in-law, Alice Thomas along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on November 23rd at Cave Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Rick Kirkland and Rev. Paul "Yogi" White officiating. Burial will follow in Cave Creek Cemetery.
