With a gentle spirit and an unwavering love for her family, Roslyn Elaine Willis, born on October 13, 1932 in Framingham, MA, lived a life that was as unforgettable as it was impactful. On December 31, 2025, Roslyn, a reliable pillar of strength and empathy, passed away, leaving behind a legacy that will remain in the hearts of her loved ones for generations to come. To quote Maya Angelou, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Indeed, Roslyn's loving nature and supportive disposition made everyone around her feel cherished and valued.

Roslyn spent the early part of her life in Framingham, MA, with a pit stop of 20 years in Worcester, MA before finding her forever home in Tampa, Florida in 1981. She was a dedicated worker in the family business World of Lighting In Tampa, FL, where her colleagues admired her reliability and empathetic nature. In her leisure time, Roslyn was an avid player of Mahjong, cards, and bridge, and she loved nothing more than a good lunch with her friends. She was also a passionate sports fan, loyally supporting the Red Sox and Rays. Roslyn's engagement with her local community was exemplified by her active involvement in the Jewish Sisterhood of Worcester and Havurah in Tampa, FL., Life Member of Brandeis University National Women's Committee, and a Life Member of Hadassah, The Women's Zionist Organization of America.

What mattered most to Roslyn was her family. She is survived by her son Glenn Willis, daughters-in-law Tammy Willis and Laura Willis, grandchildren Matthew (Bridget Willis) Willis, Casey Willis, and Joshua Scherdell, Kara Maesterelli, Jeremy (Tiffany Hale) Willis, Tyler (Tasha Lesher) Willis and great-granddaughters Libby Willis, Mila Maestrelli, and Asteria Willis. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Rena Levenson. Roslyn was preceded in death by the love of her life Robert "Bobby", and parents Esther and Herbert Levenson, her son Jamie Willis, her brothers Gerry Levenson, Neil Levenson, Warren Levenson, Murray Levenson, and her sister Beverly Miller. To quote Helen Keller, "What we have once enjoyed deeply we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." Indeed, Roslyn's loving memory will remain a part of all those who loved her.

There will be a graveside service in Roslyn's memory on Wednesday, January 7th, 2025, at 11AM at Gan Shalom Cemetery in Lutz, FL.

Roz was an amazing person... I have so many fond memories of Roz and her adventures with the girls....especially my mom Betty.

I know my mom´s passing was hard for Roz but now they will be together and looking for a game!

Roz was fierce... and so was her love for her family and friends.. I am honored to have met her on her journey.

She will be deeply missed.. but her memory will live with us in our hearts.

Until we meet again. Love you Roz.
