Ross Glen Landowski

Ross Glen Landowski, of Drayton, ND, passed away on May 30, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Ross was born August 17, 1933, in Grafton, ND, the son of Thomas and Gertrude (Swanson) Landowski. He attended Chase School in Grafton, ND. After his education, he went to work at the Case Dealership in Drayton, ND. It was there that he met Cecelia Marciniak. Ross and Cecelia were married on November 23, 1953, at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Drayton. They began their married life in Drayton, later moving to Grand Forks, ND, and Moorhead, MN. Together they raised 5 children.
Ross and Cecelia returned home to Drayton in 1973, and Ross became a successful farmer for several years. Later in life, he opened up Landowski Furniture in Drayton. He then expanded his business to Baudette, Oslo, and Grafton. After retirement in 2013, Ross spent his time enjoying casino life, fishing, playing cards, and spending summers at the lake in Warroad, MN, and winters in Mesa, AZ.
Ross is survived by his 4 children, Gregory Landowski, Anoka, MN, Julie (Kris) Ferguson, Drayton, ND, Jeffrey Landowski, Drayton, ND, and Susan (Lou) Landowski, White Bear Lake, MN; daughter-in-law, Taryn Landowski, Drayton, ND; 23 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; and brother, Tom (Judy) Landowski, Anoka, MN.
Ross was preceded in death by his loving wife of 60 years, Cecelia; his oldest son, Thomas Landowski; his parents; and one grandson.
A funeral service for Ross will be held on Friday, June 6 at 3:00 p.m. at Austin Funeral Chapel in Drayton, ND. Visitation will be held at the chapel for an hour before the service. Interment will be in St. Edward's Catholic Cemetery immediately following the service. Rev. Leroy Aufenkamp, presiding. Following the interment, please join the family at Hasting's Landing for food and refreshments and to celebrate the life of Ross Landowski.
