Ross A. McPeake, age 54, passed away peacefully on Monday December 23, 2024, with his loving family by his side.
Ross was born in Arlington Heights, IL on May 15, 1970. He was beloved by many in his roles as an exceptional father, husband, son, brother, friend, athlete, manager, and mentor. Ross was known for his deep faith, strength, honesty, compassion, quick wit, sarcasm, and humor - continuing to smile and joke with others until the day of his passing. Ross was an avid Bears fan and always loved spending time with family. He was passionate about supporting his family and would lend a hand whenever possible. His positive attitude and fight through several health struggles in the final years of his life were revealing of his spiritual character and left an indelible mark in inspiring numerous others going through challenging times. God was his rock and his faith did not waiver.
Ross is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Jennifer McPeake (nee Juliano); his cherished daughter, Mirabella McPeake; sisters, Heather (Rich)Tamayo and Clarissa Lewis; nephews, Bryce and Cole Lewis; father and mother-in-law, Frank and Donna Juliano; brothers-in-law,Tom (Smitha) Juliano, Anthony Juliano, and John (Leann) Juliano; and nieces, Shreya and Sofina Juliano.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ross and Helene McPeake.
A visitation for Ross will be held from 4pm until 8pm on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. A second visitation will be held the following morning at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 McHenry Ave, Crystal Lake, IL from 9am until the time of mass at 11am.
