We regret to announce the passing of Ross Miserendino on February 12, 2025. Born in Chicago, IL. in 1930 to his late parents Carmella and Peter Miserendino. Ross recently celebrated his 94 birthday.
Ross was a devoted family man and was the beloved husband to the late Catherine (Rehbock) Miserendino. Ross deeply loved his three children; Carmel Piquette, Catherine (Kitty) Morgan (Scott), and David Miserendino (Rhonda), his seven grandchildren; Tim Morgan (Katie), Sean Morgan (Lauren), Jennifer Fritz-Reavis (Chris), Kyle Morgan, Christopher Miserendino, Samantha Miserendino and Nicholas Miserendino, his eight great grandchildren; Maddie, Julia, Tyler, Brody, Keira, Olivia, Ari and Ben, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ross was a first generation American from parents who immigrated from Sicily, Italy. He actively supported and contributed to St Jude's. Through the years he loved fishing and Bingo. He worked for over fourty years at the Birmingham/Mead Paper Company in Hillside, IL.
Ross Miserendino will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him, but his legacy will live on through his family and friends.
A short prayer service will be held at Queen of Heaven in the Christ The King Mausoleum, 25247 Tier 2R, 2F. Located at 1400 S. Wolf Rd. Hillside,IL. (708-449-8300) on Monday February 17th at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's.
