Rowyn Grace Brown, 9 years old, of Montgomery, Texas, passed away on December 8th, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most.
Born on November 18, 2016, in Houston, Texas, to McKenzie Cook, Danny Brown, and her loving stepfather Edgar Berry, Rowyn brought joy to everyone around her from the very moment she entered the world. Her light was gentle yet radiant, touching every heart lucky enough to know her.
She is survived by her devoted parents, McKenzie Cook, Edgar Berry, and Danny Brown; her beloved siblings, Rylinn Brown, Deegan Brown, Kaylie Berry, Maisyn Berry, Kaia Brown, Damian Brown, Jacob Rhodes, and Colt Remington; and her cherished grandparents and great-grandparents, Cheyenne Powell, Kelen Powell, Charlotte Cook, Betty Johnson, Peggy Massey, Muriel Stampley, Robert Stampley, Beverly Walker, and Michael Walker. Rowyn was also deeply loved by her aunts and uncles—Lynden Powell and wife Teresa Powell; Kennedi Thompson and husband Preston Thompson; Jaidah Horton and husband Elijah Horton; Irelen Powell, Liam Powell, Wesley Cook, Jessica Banion, Mandy Berry, and Leighann Berry-Hyde and husband Steven Hyde—as well as her cousins, Melody Powell, Benjamin Powell, Charlotte Thompson, Lorelai Thompson, Malachi Horton, Ezra Horton, and August Hyde.
Rowyn Grace will be remembered for her sweet and tender heart, her laughter that could brighten even the heaviest days, and the innocent joy she shared so freely. She had a warmth that enveloped the people she loved, and her presence brought a sense of peace, wonder, and hope. Her kindness, love, and beautiful spirit will be forever missed, yet always carried in the hearts of those she touched.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on December 16th at 1:00 p.m. at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, with visitation taking place one hour before the service. Burial will follow at Garden Park Cemetery.
