Roxanne Meeks Obituary

Roxanne graduated from Southwood High School in 1968. She moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 1975. Roxanne married Rodger Leo Meeks August 4, 2000 in AL. Leo died April 5, 2012. She worked as a waitress when first living in Alabama. She then worked in Huntsville for P. R. Mallory and Co. Inc, which is headquartered in Indianapolis. Roxanne ended up retiring after almost 23 years from Madison County Government. She worked in the office of a county shed that did maintenance on county equipment keeping track of parts inventory, payroll & dispatch.
She is survived by a sister, Lori (Bob White) VerMaas, a brother, Michael Halderman, both of Wabash, niece, Michelle (Jonathan) and great-nephew, Carter Hart of Marion, two step-sons, grandchildren & great-grandchildren all of AL. She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be a celebration of life for Roxanne from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.
Burial took place at the Gibson Cemetery, Huntsville, Alabama on October 10, 2023.
