Roy Frederick Balduf

Roy Balduf passed away January 17, 2025. He was 80 years old.
Roy was a proud veteran of the Army Reserves for 6 years and was a 4th degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. He was also a long time former Teletype employee and a tax preparer for more than 50 years. He was an avid bowler and golfer and loved his dog Putty.
Beloved husband of Pat (nee Potocki) for 59 years; Cherished father of Brian (Barbara), Bradley (Jennifer), and Brett; Adored grandfather of Riley (Angie), Ty (Mary), Hayden, Emma, Jordyn, Jacob, Noah, and Ethan; Loving great grandfather of Sadie, Sawyer, and Sophie; Caring son of the late Fred and Mina; Fond brother of the late Ronald and Shirley and brother in law of Pamela and the late Kenneth Ramljak; Loving dog dad of his best friend, Putty.
Visitation Tuesday, January 21 from 4-8PM at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 185 E. Northwest Highway, Palatine. Family and friends are invited for a visitation on Wednesday, January 22, from 10AM until time of Mass, 11AM, at Holy Family Parish, 2515 W. Palatine Rd, Inverness.
