Vicki Lee Balduf

Vicki L. Balduf, 77, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away Friday, September 6, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 30, 1947 in Fremont, OH to William and Virginia (Schneider) Edwards. On June 5, 1969 in Marshall, NC she married Clarence "Buz" Balduf and he survives. Vicki worked at the Catawba Island Club, retiring in 2007, and also for the Ottawa County Humane Society. She was a member of LaPointe United Methodist Church, Fremont V.F.W. Auxiliary Life Member, and the Riverview Healthcare Campus Auxiliary, Oak Harbor. She also volunteered at the B-C-S Food Pantry in Oak Harbor. Vicki loved her family and her dogs, grand-dogs, and grand-cats. She liked to go perch fishing and watch for deer as her and Buz drove around. Her family is going to miss her greatly, she was always active and busy and willing to help family and friends. Vicki was a care giver and took great care of her mother-in-law recently before she passed. She always put her family first.
In addition to her loving husband of 55 years, Buz, she is survived by her children, Jennifer, Clarence "Buz", Jr., daughter-in-law, Lorilynn, grandchildren, Clay-Allen, Rey Gonzales, Erica (Ed) Soper, sister, Linda (Fred) Fitzgerald, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved dogs, Sadie & Scout. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Chris, brothers, Billy, Dick, Jim, Dave Edwards, sisters, Yollie Ameling, Mary Sabo, Barb Rigsby, Judy Sutter, Betty Topel, and Rose Koester.
Visitation for Vicki will be Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 12, 2024. Interment will follow in Rusha Cemetery, Carroll Township, OH.
